Oklahoma Program of the Year
The Oklahoma Program of the Year is determined through a point system at the Oklahoma Compulsory, Optional, and XCEL State Team Competitions. There will be two winners, one for the Developmental Program and one for the XCEL Program. Both will be recognized at the Oklahoma All-State Gala in August. The points are allocated as follows:

Levels 2-10 and all XCEL Levels:
1st Place = 5 points 2nd Place = 4 points 3rd Place = 3 points 4th Place = 2 points 5th Place = 1 point To earn points for Program of the Year, a team must have a minimum of 3 athletes, 12 counting scores, 3 on each event, and all scores of at least a 1.0 or greater. Points earned at DP levels count toward the DP Program of the Year and points earned at XCEL levels count toward the XCEL Program of the year. The Program of the Year winners will be notified by the SAC and committee. |
Points will also be awarded for the cultural and philosophical make-up of the program. Following the Region 3 Program of the Year Guidelines, consideration will be given to the following questions:
In the event of a tie for Program of the Year, the tie break will go to the team with the most 1st place finishes, then the most 2nd place finishes if needed, etc. |
