Oklahoma USA Gymnastics State Committee Meeting Minutes

1. Discussion on Transparency and Communication
The committee discussed the importance of transparency within the regional panel selection process. Members emphasized the need for clear and consistent communication to help all Oklahoma judges better understand the process and strengthen confidence in committee decisions.
2. Promoting Unity
Members discussed the importance of maintaining unity and collaboration between judges and the state committee. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, fairness, and open dialogue to support a positive working environment.
3. Recusal
Judges were formally recused from the call during portions of the meeting involving judging assignments and selection discussions to ensure impartiality.
4. Meet Referee Selection
The committee reviewed and discussed candidates for the Meet Referee position.
Motion: Anni made a motion to appoint Alicia Toy as Meet Referee. Doug seconded the motion. All were in favor; motion passed unanimously.
