Oklahoma NAWGJ SGB Minutes Meeting on 8/24/2021

  1. Safe Sport Portal on the OK Website
    1. Everyone please go check out the portal on our website and see if you think it is sufficient to meet the new Safe Sport Policy standards.
  2. Zoo Review
    1. Dynamo is the host. 
    2. Dynamo will create the flyer.
    3. Animal Themed.
    4. November 6-7, 2021
    5. Entries sent to Dynamo. Dynamo will send info to Teresa about entries.
    6. Registration deadline is 10/17/2021
    7. AAU Levels 2-5 + all XCel and USAG Levels 3-5 + all XCel + Level 7 National Judge's Cup Qualifiers
    8. Teresa will touch base with Leissner about Zoo Review Awards from 2019, count everything, and make a spreadsheet.
    9. Teresa will talk to Dynamo about their equipment for score keeping. Will reach out to Zone as well. 
    10. Refunds will be given for COVID circumstances.
  3. Susan Monahan Materials Order
    1. Jeana will touch base with B. Leissner about the status of the order and the outstanding balance.
    2. Liz suggested a new order be placed
    3. Individuals who have already used their stipend for other training or resources will be responsible for paying for their own materials.
  4. Availability
    1. Reminder for everyone to update their availability in gymjas.
    2. 11 people signed up for Regionals this year. Yay!
  5. Baby Showers of 9/18
    1. OK Judge's will pay for snack/drinks.
  6. Eric Pung Clinic
    1. Liz has been handling all travel arrangements
    2. Eric will give us an invoice to pay. 
    3. Morning = lecture. Afternoon = live gymnasts.
    4. No coaches at this clinic (unless they are bringing live gymnasts for demonstrations). 
  7. Budget
    1. Discussion of the proposed budget for 2021-2022.
  8. Next Meeting:
    1. September 18 at EGA from 12:00-1:00pm (working lunch in between the clinic)
    2. For Next Meeting: 
      1. Discuss setting up a PayPal for zoo review things.
      2. Liz collected info from other states - most collect PayPal for finders fees but not for entries.
